A good friend of mine sent me this and thought I would share:
Take a 20-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
Sit in silence for at least 20 minutes each day. Talk to God about what is going on in your life.

Today is a very special day today because it would have been the 65th birthday (if I did my math correct) of Lucas’ nanny, Deanna. I’m sad that she never got to meet him because I think she would have adored him. I’m sad that Jeff and Missy are probably both having a sad day...

… or maybe eat them? Either way, most days when I am keeping him all day, Lucas will stroll to his book basket and bring me book after book after book after book. It’s really hilarious. He likes to turn the pages and will stay interested in one whole book… which I must admit amazes...

Lucas never ceases to amaze me with his development of personality. I am constantly looking at him, evaluating him, and trying to figure out… who does he more favor in looks and personality: Jeff or me? He’s such a nice combination of both so far. He has his Daddy’s bottom lip and my upper lip. ...

Lucas is walking everywhere, and his curiosity takes him to every single nook and cranny in this house. He finds things I didn’t pick up with the vaccuum. He finds things I’ve lost. I thought today that I’d share his feet with the world. There’s something special about baby feet.
